PISLM to sponsor two awards for excellence in environmental journalism at the NGC 35th CBU Caribbean Media Awards

[Georgetown, GUYANA]– Partnership Initiative for Sustainable Land Management (PISLM) is proud to announce its sponsorship of two prestigious awards at the upcoming NGC 35th CBU Caribbean Media Awards, recognizing excellence in environmental journalism. The awards, namely the “Best Television Production on Land Degradation Neutrality” and “Best Print Article on Land Degradation Neutrality,”.

The NGC CBU Awards celebrate outstanding achievements in journalism and media production, highlighting the critical role that media plays in raising awareness and driving positive change. PISLM is honoured to support and promote excellence in reporting on land degradation neutrality, an issue of paramount importance in the region and beyond.
The “Best TV Production on Land Degradation Neutrality” award will recognize exceptional audiovisual content that effectively communicates the challenges and solutions related to land degradation neutrality in the Caribbean Region. This category aims to showcase creative and impactful productions that contribute to raising awareness and fostering sustainable practices.

The “Best Print Article on Land Degradation Neutrality” award will acknowledge outstanding written journalism that delves into the complexities of land degradation neutrality, offering insightful perspectives and informing the public about the importance of sustainable land management.
PISLM is committed to sustainability and environmental stewardship. Through our partnership with the Caribbean Media Awards and the Partnership Initiative for Sustainable Land Management, we aim to encourage journalists to explore and bring attention to issues related to land degradation neutrality, contributing to a broader understanding of the challenges and opportunities in this crucial field.
