Annual General Assembly

The Annual General Assembly (AGA) is the CBU’s premier event where participating member associations  have the opportunity to meet and discuss issues affecting the industry in the region and beyond.  At the AGA, members have the opportunity to reward and celebrate the year’s adjudged best in television, radio, digital and print media at the CBU Caribbean Media Awards gala.

52nd Annual General Assembly

  • Held : August 16th & 17th, 2021
  • Location  : Virtually

For the second time in the history of the organisation, the Annual General Assembly was held virtually in response to the ongoing travel restrictions posed by the COVID-19 global pandemic. Media practitioners from across the Caribbean reported on the mainly negative impact of COVID-19 on their operations and businesses, and engaged in sessions discussing opportunities for media during times of challenge.

51st Annual General Assembly

For the first time in the history of the organisation, the Annual General Assembly was held virtually in response to the ongoing travel restrictions posed by the COVID-19 global pandemic.  At AGA 51, media practitioners from across the Caribbean  reported on the challenges being posed to their continued viable operations, brought on by the pandemic which has been impacting them negatively for almost six months into the year.
