The International Telecommunications Union (ITU) believes young experts will contribute to bridging the digital divide and leveraging technology for the benefit of society so it is seeking to develop the next generation of global ICT experts and leadersthrough its Young Professionals Programme (YPP)
Under the program ITU is focussing on young experts from developing countries, including small island developing states (SIDS)
Successful applicants will participate in a two year rotation program with the ffirst year at ITU-HQ and the second year in a Regional/Area Office working across ITU’s three Sectors and the General Secretariat. Over the course of this 2-year program, talented and qualified individuals will be exposed to technology, regulatory and policy issues and learn how they work in practice.

To qualify for the positions applicants must be younger than thirty years old, hold a first degree in a related area and have at least one year of working experience or a higher degree.
