MIC Workshop for Caribbean Investigative Journalists

The Media Institute of the Caribbean (MIC) is offering fellowships to
qualifying Caribbean journalists to attend a five-day
intensive training workshop on Investigative Journalism
in Kingston, Jamaica from May 1-5, 2018.

The workshop will launch a series of initiatives by the MIC to develop a
cadre of journalists equipped to produce high-quality investigative work.

It will be conducted by prominent international and
regional media trainers and practitioners.

There will be a combination of lectures, inter-active sessions and
practical exercises led by the team of facilitators and participants will be
drawn from media houses from across the English-speaking Caribbean.
The MIC is a registered non-profit in Jamaica and is a member organisation
of the Global Investigative Journalism Network (GIJN) and a partner
institution of the Association of Caribbean Media Workers (ACM).

The Fellowship entitlement includes coverage of expenses for
Airfare, Ground Transfer in Jamaica, Hotel Accommodation,
