The CBU Secretariat is pleased to inform you of an upcoming training workshop and meeting organized by the Public Media Alliance (formerly the Commonwealth Broadcasting Association) and sponsored by UNESCO, focussing on Social Media Guidelines for Caribbean Journalists.

The event takes place in Barbados from June 19 to 21, 2017 and will be facilitated by Paul Myers head of the BBC Academy’s Investigation Support project, as well as the PMA CEO, Dr Sally-Ann Wilson.

A limited number of bursaries for travel, accommodation and incidentals are available to institutions that meet the eligibility criteria. (See attached Call for Applications)  And space is available for self-funded participants.

Successful applicants will be notified by email from the PMA by 26 May 2017.
